HubSpot Agent Hub: What It Is and How to Run It Well

August 10, 2026

PUBLIC BETA SINCE JULY 2026

Agent Hub is HubSpot's home for its AI agents, formerly called Breeze Agents, now in public beta as of July 2026. It puts pre-built agents, custom agents, agentic workflows, and AI context in one console so you can see what is running and what it delivers. The Hub is included with Professional and Enterprise subscriptions, and agents bill through HubSpot Credits when they complete work.

AVAILABLE ON

Professional and Enterprise tiers of Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, and Data Hubs, plus Smart CRM Professional and Enterprise. Free and Starter portals do not get the Hub. In public beta, so details can move.

COST

The Hub itself is included. Agents bill per outcome through HubSpot Credits: about 50 cents per resolved conversation, one dollar per recommended lead, ten cents per data answer. Extra credits run $10 per 1,000.

BEFORE YOU START

A Super Admin has to switch on the AI settings toggles (generative AI, CRM data, conversion data, files, Breeze Assistant). Building agents needs Super Admin or the Agent Builder permission. And CRM data you trust.

What is HubSpot Agent Hub?

Agent Hub is the new front door for every AI agent in your HubSpot portal. In July 2026 HubSpot retired the Breeze Agents name and shipped this instead: one console, found under More, then Agents, then Agent Hub, that shows your whole agentic setup in a single view. Both the knowledge base articles and the product page carry a Beta badge as of late July 2026.

Inside it: an Intro tab that maps your "agentic customer journey" across five cards (AEO, data agent, prospecting agent, deal progression, customer agent), an Agents tab for the agents you have built or installed, a Context tab holding the business knowledge every agent draws from, an agent builder, agentic workflows, an agent inbox for reviewing output, and an Agent Marketplace for installing more.

Here is the part worth understanding: the agents are not new. The console is. Until now, each agent lived in its own corner of HubSpot with its own settings page, and nobody could answer "what is our AI actually doing, and what is it costing us" without a scavenger hunt. Agent Hub is HubSpot admitting that agents need a management layer. We think that is the right call.

How does Agent Hub work?

Think of it as five surfaces in one place:

  1. The journey cards. Active features show the outcomes they are driving; inactive ones show what they could do, with an Activate button. Manage takes you into any agent's configuration.
  2. The agent builder. A no-code canvas for custom agents. You write instructions (role, goal, approach, expected output), pick actions (read or write CRM records, browse the web, HubSpot actions, or external systems over MCP), attach knowledge (vaults, brand kit, ICPs), and define runtime inputs. Testing an agent consumes no credits.
  3. Agentic workflows. Workflows built inside the Hub with agents as steps, so a multi-step process can include an agent doing the reasoning in the middle of your automation.
  4. The Context tab. Company messaging, tone, brand, and ICPs, plus knowledge vaults for specific material like product details or support guidance. Every agent inherits this, which is exactly why it deserves attention before any agent goes live.
  5. The agent inbox and controls. Run agents, review their output, set per-agent access (who can edit, who can run), check estimated credit costs in run history, and cap spend with monthly run limits.

What does Agent Hub cost?

The Hub is included with any Professional or Enterprise subscription. What costs money is the work the agents complete, billed in HubSpot Credits under HubSpot's outcome pricing, in place since April 2026: you pay when the task finishes, not for the agent existing.

Customer agent - Resolves a conversation

You pay $0.50 per resolution.

Prospecting agent - Recommends a lead and drafts outreach

You pay $1.00 per lead.

Data agent - Answers a question about your data

You pay $0.10 per answer.

Custom agents - Runs (varies with the task)

Credits per run; estimates in run history.

Credits run $10 per 1,000. Paid portals include a monthly pool, roughly 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise, and that pool is shared across every Breeze and AI feature, not reserved per agent. Custom agent costs are HubSpot's estimates; actual usage can vary, which is what run limits are for.

What does Agent Hub do for your business?

Two things. First, visibility: one screen that answers what your AI is doing, what it has delivered, and what it is costing, which is the question every leadership team asks about three months after someone turned an agent on. Second, custom agents without code: repetitive judgment work like preparing onboarding handoffs, reviewing records, or drafting structured outputs can become an agent your team runs on demand or inside a workflow. Agents like the prospecting agent get a proper home instead of a scattered settings page.

Who it is NOT for, honestly:

  • Free and Starter portals. The Hub needs Professional or Enterprise.
  • Teams with messy CRM data. Every agent in the Hub reasons from your records and your context. Garbage in stays garbage, just faster and at credit cost.
  • Anyone who needs finished software. This is a public beta and it behaves like one: navigation, packaging, and features will move before general availability.

How Hubjoy runs Agent Hub in client portals

Straight up: the Hub is weeks old, so nobody on earth has years of Agent Hub experience. The agents inside it are another story. This is the rollout order we use, built from deploying HubSpot's agents in client portals, and it is designed around one idea: use the new console to see everything, and be slow to activate anything.

  1. Inventory before activation. Open the Hub and record what is already active, who has access, and what the credit pool looks like. The journey cards make this a ten-minute job that used to take an afternoon.
  2. Permissions before agents. AI settings toggles reviewed deliberately, and the Agent Builder permission restricted to the team that owns it. Per-agent access set to "owners and super admins edit, everyone runs" as the default.
  3. Context before agents, too. Brand, ICPs, and knowledge vaults filled in first. Every agent inherits this material, so thin context here means generic output everywhere.
  4. One agent at a time. Activate the one with the clearest payback, run it with human review on, measure for a few weeks, then consider the next. Never the whole journey in week one.
  5. Credit governance from day one. A monthly run limit on every custom agent before it is published, estimated costs checked in run history after test runs, and a weekly look at the shared pool.
  6. Beta discipline. We note where every setting lives, recheck configurations after HubSpot's updates, and keep critical processes off beta-only surfaces until they harden.

The gotcha we watch for: Agent Hub makes activating an agent one click, and every agent bills from the same shared credit pool. An afternoon of curious exploring can leave three agents quietly drawing credits, and the pool is gone before anyone connects the dots. In our rollouts, activation is a decision with an owner, not a browse.

Frequently asked questions

What is HubSpot Agent Hub?

Agent Hub is HubSpot's management console for its AI agents, formerly called Breeze Agents. It brings pre-built agents, custom agents, agentic workflows, AI context, and the Agent Marketplace into one place, so you can see what is active, review outcomes, and build your own agents. It launched in public beta in July 2026.

Is Agent Hub replacing Breeze Agents?

Yes. Agent Hub is the new name and the expanded home for what HubSpot called Breeze Agents. The individual agents keep their names, like customer agent and prospecting agent. Breeze Assistant stays separate as the conversational AI you chat with across HubSpot.

Which HubSpot plans include Agent Hub?

Agent Hub is available on Professional and Enterprise tiers of Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, and Data Hub, plus Smart CRM Professional and Enterprise. Free and Starter portals do not get Agent Hub.

Is Agent Hub in beta?

Yes. Agent Hub and the agent builder are in public beta as of July 2026. HubSpot's knowledge base articles and the product page both carry a Beta badge, so expect the surface and some details to change before general availability.

How much does Agent Hub cost?

The Hub itself is included with Professional and Enterprise subscriptions. The agents inside it bill through HubSpot Credits when they complete work: about 50 cents per conversation the customer agent resolves, about one dollar per lead the prospecting agent recommends, and about ten cents per data agent answer. Custom agents consume credits per run. Extra credits are $10 per 1,000.

Can I build my own agents without code?

Yes. The agent builder is a no-code canvas: you write instructions in plain language, choose actions like reading and writing CRM records or browsing the web, connect external systems through MCP, and attach knowledge sources. Testing an agent does not consume credits, and you can set monthly run limits before you publish.

Can agents run inside workflows?

Yes. Agent Hub includes agentic workflows: you build a workflow in the Hub, add agents as steps, and configure triggers and actions so multi-step processes run with an agent doing the reasoning. This is also how a published custom agent gets put to work in your broader automation.

Wondering what to activate first?

We will look at your portal, tell you whether it is ready for agents, and which one earns its credits fastest for your team. Thirty minutes, no pitch.
